20-year-old arrested after daytime stabbing at Andy Livingstone Park

A young man has been arrested after a stabbing at a downtown Vancouver park.

On Monday, April 29, just before 4:30 pm, police were called to Andy Livingstone Park, near Carrall Street and Expo Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers say they found a 54-year-old Vancouver man with stab wounds. He’s since been taken to the hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.

A short while later, a 20-year-old was arrested and was taken into custody.

It’s not yet known whether the 20-year-old was known to police or what charges the man is facing.
