Before watching floats pass by on Sunday at the 36th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade, head to the heart of Davie Village to take back the rainbow streets for pride at the Davie Street Block Party.
Get your Pride Weekend started right at the annual Davie Street Block Party where a host of DJs will have you dancing all night.
The Davie Street Block Party continues to boast a ‘more accessible’ pride this year by featuring an early (and free) all-ages event.
Beginning at 4 p.m. attendees of all ages are free to show up at the Bute Plaza to take part in carnival games, activities, sporting events, performances and more. A dance floor and the all-ages stage will also be located at the rainbow crosswalks in the heart of Davie Village.
Then at 6 p.m. the block party expands to include the 19+ ticketed beer garden as well as the opening of the main stage between Burrard and Thurlow.
Tickets will be $10 and are available through Little Sisters or online at vancouverpride.ca.
