Das Racist are coming to town, and it’s gonna be a party. FortuneSound is once again hosting one of the world’s best new bands, bringing the crew into Vancouver this coming MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, so don’t sleep on it and get your ass to Fortune Sound Monday Night!

If you’re not familiar with Das Racist, that’s okay, let me drop some knowledge on you. They are notorious party rockers based in Brooklyn, who’ve been blowing up out east for years supported by MISHKA and MAD DECENT. They’ve been lauded for their their laid back style, which veils sharp social commentary through pop culture crossing references. Honestly, they are just unique in their identity and unparalleled in their musical approach. They dropped their first album ‘Shut up dude’ in March 2010 as a free download (http://bit.ly/cTY8Mh), which got a huge response over the spring/summer, leading to their second drop ‘Sit down man’ last month.
