Looking for a little Lebanese food in your life? Make note of a tasty upcoming event taking place downtown on Thursday, September 29, that doubles as a fundraiser for a terrific cause.
Normally open just for lunching, popular salad-centric spot Field & Social is welcoming The Dallah Menu for a collaboration pop-up evening of eats inspired by Lebanese Cuisine.

This one-night only non-ticketed event is a unique chance for Vancouverites to get a taste of Lebanese flavours as created by Dallah (Abdallah El Chami), who is passionate about sharing the traditional foods of Lebanon. Trained and well-traveled, Dallah brings to the table fresh, exciting, bold flavours of a lesser-known cuisine.
Dallah has also been behind several recent sold-out pop-out culinary experineces in Vancouver.
Menu for The Dallah x Field & Social
- Salads: Tabbouleh, Fattoush
- Spreads: Hummus, Carrot, Lemon & Black Pepper
- Main: Stuffed Potato Kibbeh, Pulled Brisket Shawarma
- Beverages: Mint & Orange Blossom Lemonade, Pineapple & Rose Water Soda
As a bonus, the collab pop-up is also a fundraiser; partial proceeds will go to Inspire Health, a supportive cancer care centre. Among their goals that need funding is to publish a cookbook with recipes and health tips from 20 of Canada’s top chefs.
