Coronavirus public exposure warning expanded for Surrey hookah lounge

Fraser Health has expanded its public exposure warning for a Surrey hookah lounge.
According to a notice on the Fraser Health Authority’s website, those who were at the lounge located at 10609 King George Highway may have been exposed to the virus during the following dates and times:

“If you have been in one of these locations at the times of possible exposure, it does not mean you will develop COVID-19. The possible exposures listed on this site are believed to be low risk but, out of an abundance of caution, Public Health asks anyone who may have visited any of the locations listed on the specified dates and times to monitor themselves for symptoms,” said Fraser Health.

An initial exposure warning for the hookah lounge was announced on August 4.
Fraser Health has also announced possible exposures at two Coquitlam pubs and a Surrey Night Rave event.
