A coronavirus case at Peace Arch Hospital has prompted Fraser Health to declare an outbreak.
Under pandemic protocol, a single coronavirus case in a health care setting is considered an outbreak..
In a news release Thursday, Fraser Health said staff saw “evidence of transmission in a rehab unit.”
They believe the outbreak is confined to a single unit in the White Rock hospital. No new patients are allowed into the unit for now.
