Possible exposure to COVID-19 has been confirmed at a grocery store in Metro Vancouver.

Dennis’ No Frills, located at #100 – 1960 Como Lake Avenue in Coquitlam announced that a team member recently tested positive for the virus.

According to a Facebook post from No Frills, the individual has not been inside the grocery store since August 11.

“We have a number of protocols in place at the store-level, including daily sanitization and social distancing practices to minimize the risk of exposure to our customers and team members,” says the retailer.

No Frills adds that their team, as well as public health, has reached out to anyone “considered a close contact of the individual.” Those people have been asked to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms.

Earlier this week, Guildford Town Centre also announced that an employee had tested positive for coronavirus.
