Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is notifying recent patrons of the Pumpjack Pub on Davie Street that they may have been exposed to coronavirus.

The possible exposures occurred between midnight on July 31 and 2 am on August 1.

“The possible exposure listed on the site is believed to be low risk, but we’re asking anyone who was at the Pumpjack Pub during that time to self-monitor themselves for symptoms,” said VCH.

The advisory comes the same day that BC health officials said that 53 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the province, bringing the provincially recorded total number of cases to 3,934.

There are currently 386 active cases in the province, with 11 people in hospital as a result, and four of these in intensive care.

There have been no new deaths, however, leaving the provincial death toll at 195.
