Possible exposure to COVID-19 has been confirmed at a 7-Eleven in Downtown Vancouver.

The company tells Daily Hive in a statement that “one of its associates has a confirmed case” of coronavirus.

Any customers that visited the 7-Eleven at 904 Davie Street on July 28 are asked to self-monitor for symptoms and get tested if necessary.

7-Eleven adds that the store was closed to “thoroughly clean and sanitize the location” and that store staff have been asked, “to self-isolate, with pay, for 14 days.”

“The health and safety of our customers, employees and the communities we serve is the top priority for 7-Eleven Canada,” says the company.

Anyone that develops symptoms of coronavirus, even if mild, is asked to contact their doctor or 8-1-1, seek testing, and self-isolate.
