Six corn mazes near Vancouver to visit this fall

It’s that time of year again!  Although the leaves haven’t officially fallen just yet, your favourite fall activities are well underway —  including corn mazes popping up in the Vancouver-area.

Whether you’re looking for something to do with friends, family, or even the little ones, there are some great corn mazes in the region that really have something for everyone.

Here’s a list of corn mazes that you’ve got to check out:

 Chilliwack Corn Maze

This year, Chilliwack Corn Maze is changing things up at the the 12-acre attraction, with the creators of the maze paying special tribute to the Canucks 50th anniversary season, with a Canuck-themed maze.

When: Until October 31.

Where:  41905 Yale Road West, Chilliwack

Time: Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11 am to 9 pm, and Sundays and holidays from 11 am to 6 pm.

Admission: Tickets for the attraction are $9.75 for children (ages 3 to 14), and $11.75 for adults (ages 15+).

Maan Farms Haunted Corn Maze

The 45-minute experience deemed the ‘scariest corn maze in Canada’ takes place on over five-acres on the farm, featuring terrifying installations, live actors, real chainsaws, and excerpts from classic horror movies.

When: September 21 to October 31

Time: Daily 7 to 10pm

Where: 790 McKenzie Rd Abbotsford

Admission: $20 early bird, $30 at the door

Bose Farms Corn Maze

This maze, which sits on 17 acres of Bose Farm’s 25 total acres, features a design honouring Scouts Canada. This year there is also a night maze happening at Bose Farms in case you wanted to get your spook on. When you find your way out of the winding paths of corn, be sure to visit the farmer’s market or pick the perfect pumpkin.

When: September 4 to October 14

Time: Reserved groups Monday to Friday (during the day)
Reserved groups Monday to Thursday (Evenings)
Friday night 6 to 8 pm
Saturday 12 to 8pm
Sunday and Thanksgiving Monday 12 to 4pm

Laity Corn Maze

Laity Pumpkin Patch

This corn maze at Laity Pumpkin Patch is perfect for kids at just one acre. On their adventure, they’ll also get to meet the Cornstone family that lives in the maze. As well as the maze, you’ll also find a whole host of pumpkin patch activities happening this October.

When: September 28 – October 31, 2019

Time: Monday to Friday 12pm to 5pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am to 5pm

Admission: $7 per person

Each year, the 12-acre maze gets a new design, and the farm’s range of activities are expanded. This year, you’ll also be able to enjoy a giant jumping pillow, pedal kart track, indoor hay bale maze, and a corn box and tons of fun family activities included with admission.

When: September 28 – October 31

Time: Sunday to Wednesday 9 am to 5:30 pm
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 9 am to 6:30 pm

October 31, 9 am to 5 pm

Admission: $7.50 per person or $36.50 for a family

Port Kells Corn Maze

This Corn Maze has loads of the twists and turns. And if you head down to this nursery in October, you’ll also be able to go on a tractor ride, visit the chicken coop, enter the goat palace, get spooked in the haunted house and then search for the best pumpkin.

When: Every day

Time: 9 am to 6 pm

Where: Port Kells Nurseries – 18730 88 Avenue, Surrey

Admission: Free.

So as the air gets cooler and the leaves start to fall, get lost in the season (not literally though) with one of these incredible corn mazes.
