As a kid growing up any mention of Hockey in American television would usually mean a reference to the Rangers or the Kings. If it mentioned a Canadian team it would be the Leafs *yuck*, which I guess was natural as most celebs hailed from that part of the country. However, heed my warning even with Jessica Alba in it there is no need to see “The Love Guru”. Never, ever!
Over the years the celeb tide has shifted westward and more and more references to the Vancouver Canucks are being made. The one celeb that wears the birthing whale jersey with great pride is Cobie Smulders who stars in the very funny sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”. Kudos to The Vancouverite for mentioning this. Here is a video in which she makes Mason Raymond a household name, okay may be not, nonetheless its kinda cool.
I feel that women in a Canucks Jersey look damn good, case in point here is a photo from one of our model profiles and 24 Hours paper did an excellent write up on that. Cobie Smulders is hot in that girl next door sort of way and no doubt her being a Canucks fan just gives her a bit more appeal.
