This church wants to help you fit faith + spiritual well-being into Friday lunch breaks

By the time Friday rolls around, most people want a bit of a break. A little time out for relaxation, even if it’s just during your lunch break.

That’s where a visit to West Georgia Street’s Coastal Church comes in. It’s not your typical church, and it offers up a 12 pm Friday service that you won’t find anywhere else.

Firstly, forget all preconceptions that you may have. This isn’t your grandma’s church service; it’s laid back, accessible, and designed specifically for people who are working in the city and want to try church during their lunch break.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been to church before or don’t consider yourself ‘the religious type’ – you don’t have to be. Attending the Friday service is a unique opportunity to try an alternative faith-based break away from your busy schedule.

You’ll find this Friday noon experience never runs longer than one hour. The service features a short musical set and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also receive a complimentary snack and water, as well as access to a digital copy of the pastor’s message notes.

“It’s the only church I know that regularly hosted a speaker’s luncheon for the business community.
