This Instagram account captures Vancouver's #CherryBlossomMadness

May 1 2020, 7:49 pm

Vancouver is blooming with beautiful cherry blossoms, and it seems that even in the midst of a global pandemic, some people are still willing to do whatever they can to rack up those likes by filling their social feeds with cherry blossom photos.

And while one Instagram account doesn’t share photos of the blossoms themselves, it does document others in the midst of their Insta-mission.

The account is Cherry Blossom Madness, and the mastermind behind it, Lele Chan, lives on a Vancouver street that takes part in the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. She captures the madness that happens outside her front window when the festival is in full swing.

And while some may have thought that things might be a little quieter this year, it looks like there is no shortage of people descending on her neighbourhood to get those shots.

Just check a few of these out:

Sword and all.
