The almost month-long festival takes place from April 4 to April 28, 2019, and spans across all of Metro Vancouver.

One of the annual highlights from this fest is The Big Picnic, which might be the country’s biggest outdoor picnic celebration.

On April 13, Vancouverites and visitors alike are invited to be a part of the afternoon event in one of the city’s flagship parks.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring a picnic mat, a picnic basket, and enjoy the afternoon festivities.

Expect eats available for purchase from some of Vancouver’s top food trucks too.

Activities will include face-painting, walking meditation, games, and performances by local artists.
