The Sandbar's brand new oyster bar is officially open (PHOTOS)

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, there’s hardly a better city to enjoy some freshly-shucked oysters in than Vancouver.
Lucky for those who enjoy this delicacy from the sea, our city just got another spot to feast on them at.

The Sandbar on Granville Island has been undergoing some renovations for a while now, and its highly-anticipated new oyster bar is officially open.
Located on the main level of the multistorey waterfront restaurant, the oyster bar is now open Thursday to Saturday from 3 to 9 pm.
The 20-seat bar is first come, first served, no reservations will be available at this new seafood destination.
