Chambar will be open 24 hours on Easter weekend...for the bees

Dec 20 2017, 4:50 am

There’s a small list of great Vancouver restaurants that are open around the clock, and for one special weekend only, one of the city’s best restaurants will be open 24 hours.

From 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 27, Chambar is hosting what they’re calling #SweetRelief. They will be serving customers overnight, with 100% of all sales going to Vancouver-based charity Universal Outreach in support of its Advanced Beekeeper’s Training Program and the Liberia Pure Honey social enterprise in Africa.

Much like how bees busy themselves with the work of the hive, the staff at Chambar will be all hands on deck to serve their customers from sundown to sun-up and beyond, with a goal to raise $50,000.

Customers will find the regular a la carte menu available during all of #SweetRelief–dinner is served Saturday night until 4 a.m. Sunday, and brunch from 4 a.m. Sunday to 4 p.m. Chambar owners Karri and Nico Schuermans have brought in some Liberia Pure Honey for the event; each #SweetRelief guest will receive a complimentary 2 oz. sample, while supplies last.

Celebrate the renewal of springtime by heading to Chambar for Easter brunch, which is the second half of the restaurant’s 24-hour #SweetRelief.
