First BC 'Chalo! FreshCo' locations to open in Surrey July 11

Sobeys announced 10 FreshCo locations will be opening in BC this year, and it looks like the first two Western Canadian Chalo! FreshCo stores are almost ready to open their doors.

Chalo! FreshCo is the brand’s same discount grocery store but wide a wide variety of South Asian products, something that has never opened in BC before.

Both new stores are in Surrey. The Newton Chalo! FreshCo location (7165 – 138 Street) and the Strawberry Hill Chalo! FreshCo location (7450 – 120 Street) are slated to open on July 11.

The first 1,000 customers who head to the Strawberry Hill Chalo! FreshCo can expect one FREE pound stick of butter.
