Celebration of Light looking for musicians to perform this summer

Ever wanted to perform at one of Vancouver’s biggest summer events? Well, this might be your year.
Music BC is now accepting applications for musicians to win a chance to play at the Celebration of Light on The Park Stage at Second Beach on July 31. The big night will celebrate all things Canada from fireworks to music.

Each year, approximately 1.3 million people attend the world’s longest-running offshore fireworks festival and this year will be no different.

Two winners will be selected and along with brand recognition, they will also receive an honorarium for their performances. The only prerequisite is that the winners must be available to play on July 31, 2019.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, May 26 at 11:45 pm. The winners will be notified the following week, on June 3.

While other Park Stage performers have yet to be announced, Music BC wants you to be one on that roster! Musicians of all ages, backgrounds, genres and cultures are encouraged to apply.
