Canucks to Celebrate Gino Odjick on Fan Appreciation Night

The Vancouver Canucks announced this evening that they will celebrate Gino Odjick on fan appreciation night, April 11 when they face the Edmonton Oilers.

Odjick was diagnosed with terminal heart disease last June and was given weeks to months to live. Since then, remarkably, Odjick’s condition has improved.

Odjick is one of the most popular players in Canucks history and he will appreciate the recognition. Gino has attended games at Rogers Arena this season and April 11 promises to be a special night.
