The Vancouver Canucks have been selling quarter-season ticket packages for three decades, but it appears that’s going to change next season.
Canucks season tickets come in three forms: full-season packs (43 games), half-season packs (22 games), and quarter-season packs (10-11 games). That’s what’s listed on the team’s website, but if you inquire about quarter-season packs, you’ll now be told you’re out of luck.

“Partial packages” will replace quarter-season packs, a prospective Canucks ticket member was recently told by the team. These packs will apparently offer a “similar experience” but will be “structured differently.”
Daily Hive reached out to the Canucks for more information but has yet to be provided details.
The Canucks didn’t include the Toronto Maple Leafs in quarter-season packs for the first time last summer. That allowed the Canucks to sell more single-game tickets for the Leafs game, which has the highest price point of any game on the schedule.
Perhaps that’s a sign of things to come.

Canucks quarter-season ticket packages used to be called “Ice Paks”
Season ticket members receive numerous benefits, including cost-savings on tickets compared to what’s offered to the general public, Team Store discounts, playoff ticket priority, and access to members-only events.
Some fans have held Canucks quarter-season ticket packages as far back as 1995, when they were called “Ice Paks.”
Existing quarter-season ticket holders that Daily Hive spoke to were not aware of any changes made to their membership. It appears they will be allowed to renew, judging by a trending Reddit post from user shadownet97, which indicates that the change in policy is for new members only.
“I opted out of my 25-26 quarter season membership and got the acknowledgement email today,” the fan said on Reddit. “I wasnât expecting for them to remove quarter season for new members or if I decided to opt in again in the future.”
The fan was told if they opted out of their membership, they would not be allowed to repurchase a quarter-season membership.

Daily Hive reached out to the Canucks for more information about the change in ticket offerings but has not yet received an explanation.
The Canucks raised ticket prices significantly last year, following the team’s best season in more than a decade, and they’re jacking up prices again for next season.
This has angered a number of fans, particularly given the context of a tumultuous 2024-25 season, which has seen the Canucks produce the second-fewest home-ice wins in the NHL.
