How to stream tonight's Canucks prospects game for free | Daily Hive

The Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Kraken will face off on Saturday night, ending five long months without Canucks hockey.

That is, some hockey players wearing Canucks and Kraken jerseys will face off on Saturday night. At least a couple of those players might even play games in the NHL this season.

The Canucks’ prospects will take on the Kraken’s prospects at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford for a two-game Prospect Showcase this weekend, with the first game taking place at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

There are two ways to watch the games.

The first is to buy a ticket and make the trek out to Abbotsford — or less of a “trek” and more of a “jaunt” if you already live in the Fraser Valley.

It’s hard to argue with the price, as tickets are just $15, which is refreshingly inexpensive given the rising cost of watching hockey these days.

If you’re not able to get out to Abbotsford, the Canucks have you covered.

Daily Hive can confirm that the Canucks will be streaming the two-game series on their website, with radio play-by-play man Brendan Batchelor providing commentary.

Vancouver’s roster for the Prospect Showcase won’t feature 2026 third-overall pick Caleb Malhotra, who is already at Boston University for the fall semester.

Their other first-round pick from the 2026 draft, Adam Novotný, will be in the lineup, however, and so will 2025 first-round pick Braeden Cootes.

Second-round pick Brooks Rogowski, potential seventh defenceman Kirill Kudryavtsev, and intriguing centre Riley Patterson will all be playing and worth keeping an eye on, along with 25-year-old Ilya Safonov, who will look to make a good first impression in a Canucks jersey.

The Canucks’ roster will also feature three invitee defencemen, who will aim to win over the Canucks brass and potentially earn a contract: Arseni Anisimov, Carson Cameron, and Alonso Gosselin.
