Vancouver Canucks forward Drew O’Connor will have plenty to chat about with his teammates when training camp arrives.

The Canucks winger dropped some exciting news on Monday, as he shared on his Instagram that he is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Anoush Krafian.

To no surprise, several of O’Connor’s teammates, including Max Sasson, Victor Mancini, Liam Ohgren, Linus Karlsson, and defenceman Elias Pettersson, made sure to congratulate the 28-year-old in the comments. Jake DeBrusk, meanwhile, was already thinking ahead to the wedding date.

“Can only imagine the food spread,” the Canucks winger commented.

O’Connor was acquired alongside defenceman Marcus Pettersson from the Pittsburgh Penguins late in the 2024-25 season. He suited up for all 82 games in 2025-26, scoring a career-high 17 goals. He is set to enter the final year of a two-year contract, which carries a $2.5-million cap hit.

Krafian is well known to some Canucks fans as well.

She makes handmade crochet bags, which she advertises on Instagram and TikTok under the handle @madebynoush. The bags, which are made with 100 per cent recycled cotton, have starting prices at US$85.

Krafian’s TikTok account, which has more than 1,300 followers, even includes O’Connor in some of the skits.

While the young and happy couple are both clearly busy in their day-to-day lives, they will soon need to begin setting aside some time to plan their wedding. Safe to say, plenty of other Canucks players will be in attendance.
