Canada's new jersey for the FIFA World Cup has officially been leaked

Canada will look a little different at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Back in November, a “home” kit for Canada’s men’s national soccer team appeared to leak, showcasing a red, long-sleeved jersey with a giant, faded maple leaf.
The leaks on Thursday from Footy Headlines showed slight differences from that jersey.
Most notably, the jerseys released had short sleeves instead of long sleeves. The maple leaf also had a straight vertical split down the middle, as opposed to the diagonal split from November’s release.
The biggest change with the new home kits is the inclusion of the giant maple that covers nearly the entire front side of the jersey. Nike has also decided to move their logo and the Canada national men’s team emblem from the centre of the uniform to each side of the jersey.
Here’s a look at what the most recent Canadian home uniforms looked like.
The leak from Thursday gave fans their first look at the away uniform. Those new jerseys have an identical design to the home kit, aside from the fact that they’re white and grey instead of red.
This is a pretty big alteration from Canada’s current away kits for international play, with those jerseys featuring thin red lines down the middle of the uniform.

Canada will play their first game of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Toronto against one of Italy, Northern Ireland, Wales, or Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 13.
What do you think of the jerseys? Would you buy one?
