The Canadian men’s national soccer team is getting a new look for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Taking place in Canada, the United States, and Mexico next year, the FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19. It will mark just the third time in history that Canada has competed in a men’s World Cup, with the other two times coming in 1986 and 2022.

Canada was one of the few World Cup countries that didn’t unveil a new uniform in 2022, butĀ that doesn’t appear to be the case this time around.

FootyHeadlines leaked images of what appears to be Canada’s new kit on Wednesday.

The leaked photos show a red Canada jersey designed by Nike, with shades that form a large maple leaf across the front.

These are different from what we’ve seen Canada wear as of late.

Their current home kit, which was first unveiled in 2024, featured a two-tone red design.

While the leaked Canada jerseys have yet to be confirmed, on Wednesday Adidas unveiled home kits for 22 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, and Wales.

Canada is not only looking to win a match at the FIFA World Cup for the first time, but it’s also hoping to make it out of their group. The tournament kicks off for Canada on June 12 in Toronto before heading to Vancouver for matches on June 18 and June 24.
