A new international poll has ranked Canada as a leader when it comes to countries with the most “positive influence globally.”

The ranking, which comes courtesy of Ipsos, included input from 18,000 respondents across 25 countries around the globe.

According to the poll, 81% of respondents put Canada at the top of the list of “countries and organizations that have a positive influence on world affairs today.”

And while Canada’s influence score remains the same since 2016,Ā  the survey noted that all other countries and organizations experienced a decline since the last the time around ā€“ most notably, the US, which dropped 24 points in the ranking to land in ninth place on the list.

Just 40% of those surveyed said they think the US has a strongly or somewhat positive influence on the world stage.

The Ipsos survey follows another recent top-ranking for Canada, this time in the form of post-secondary education.

Last month,Ā Canada came out first, ranking the top country in the world for higher education graduates, according to aĀ new report.

UK-basedĀ RS Components, which is a leading distributor of electronic, electrical, and industrial components, revealed which countries have the highest percentage of the population attending higher education, and the countries which come out on top for men and women.

And back in January of this year, Canada ranked as theĀ #1 country in the world for Quality of LifeĀ for the fourth year in a row.

True North Strong indeed!
