ORIGINAL STORY at 5:36 pm:

Some transit users are experiencing a longer-than-usual journey home during rush hour Monday.

According to TransLink, SkyTrain Canada Line is facing delays due to a medical emergency at Vancouver City Centre.

There is no Canada Line service at Waterfront, Vancouver City Centre, Yaletown–Roundhouse, or Olympic Village stations.

“Canada Line customers travelling Northbound will have to transfer to bus service at Broadway City Hall Station,” TransLink said. “Customers starting their journey from one of the closed stations will have to use bus service and transfer to SkyTrain at Broadway City Hall to continue their journey via Canada Line.”

Expo and Millennium lines are unaffected.
