This giant 'Canada 150' sign is Vancouver's newest Instagram hotspot

Vancouver has a new Instagram hot-spot and it celebrates Canada’s 150th birthday in a big way.

A giant ‘Canada 150’ sign has appeared near Canada Place and it’s getting a lot of attention on Instagram.

These 3D Canada 150 signs have been placed in cities all over the country.

The majority of the 3D Canada 150 signs measure 1.82 m (6 ft) by 10.97 m (36 ft) and weigh 2722 kg (6,000 lbs.).

Canadians and tourists are invited to take pictures at the signs and share them on social media using the hashtag #3DCanada150.

The sign in Vancouver will be removed at the end of November 2017, giving you plenty of time to snap your patriotic pictures.
