"Don't touch me": Anti-masker fights with store staff at Burnaby Canadian Tire
A recent confrontation between store staff, security guards and a maskless man at a Canadian Tire store in Burnaby, BC was caught on video.
While it’s not clear from the footage how the altercation began, the video begins with the man yelling expletives at store security guards as he tells them not to touch him.
“My human rights are trumping your bullsh*t mask mandate,” the man states.
The situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation as more staff responded to the scene. The man then continued to protest as they attempted to get him under control.
Eventually, the man is tackled to the ground, where an officer attempts to cuff him as he yells that he can’t breathe.
The group then continued to implore the man to put his hands behind his back until the man is ultimately brought to his stomach and handcuffed.
