Brewery & The Beast 2014

Dec 19 2017, 6:27 pm

On Sunday, July 27, the highly anticipated Brewery & The Beast returns to Vancouver for its second annual Festival of Meat. Hosted at Concord Pacific Place (88 Pacific Boulevard) from 1 to 4 p.m., an exceptional group of chefs from Vancouver and Whistler sharpen their knives for the summer’s most unique culinary experience.

Chefs from an outstanding lineup of more than 35 restaurants, including Maenam, Araxi, Pidgin, Campagnolo, Homer St. Cafe and Bar, Bearfoot Bistro, Hawksworth and Wildebeest, will be showcasing their culinary vision through tasty meat-centric creations. Guests can expect whole animal roasts, charcuterie, classic BBQ, traditional, ethnic, modern, and exotic dishes using conventional and rare cuts from a wide variety of proteins.

The Phillips Brewing Company will be tapped-up and serving a selection of their signature craft beers dispensed from the famous 32-tap “Gypsy” wagon to accompany the menu du jour. Other beverage options will include premium wine selections from Mission Hill Family Estate Winery, and cider from the award-winning Left Field Cider Co. as well as Phillips homemade sodas, specialty coffees, and traditional iced teas.

Focusing on food education and promotion of local farms and businesses, Brewery & The Beast strives to strengthen the connection between the consumer and provider. Founding sponsor, Two Rivers Specialty Meats, supplies chefs with the majority of proteins for the event and is proud to source the highest quality meats, all of which are ethically raised and fed all-natural diets free of hormones and antibiotics, which is the benchmark of quality for all participants.

A proud supporter of the food & beverage industry, Brewery & The Beast donates partial proceeds from each event to the BC Hospitality Foundation, an organization that helps to provide assistance to the industry’s ill or injured workers.

Tickets to Brewery & The Beast are $89 + tax and are on sale now. Prices are inclusive of all food and beverage offerings, and are available for purchase online via www.BreweryAndTheBeast.com. Kindly note that Brewery & The Beast is a 19+ event. Tickets are limited and only sold in advance.
