Things will be sizzling once again when Brewery & the Beast returns in Vancouver on July 26, 2015.

The popular meat-centric event celebrates the best in whole animal cooking, using meat that is raised locally and ethically. Local chefs showcase their talent on the plate with tantalizing samples representing a vast array of meat preparations, including whole animal roasts, charcuterie, classic BBQ, traditional, ethnic, modern, and exotic dishes prepared from an assortment of conventional and rare cuts of protein.

Not to leave off the “brewery” side of things, the event features Victoria’s own Phillips Brewing Company, who will serve a diverse selection of their award winning beers for guests to pair with their dishes. Beyond the suds, there will be Left Field Cider and wine from Mission Hill Family Estate, and non-alcoholic options as well.

Simply put: It’s great meat and great beer.

This is the third year for Brewery & the Beast, which aims to raise consumer awareness of the importance of choosing to support local farmers and consuming high-quality meat.

“By supplying our guests with a tangible experience of how these foods taste, where they can purchase or consume them, and most importantly get information about the farms they come from, is key to our vision and goals of the event, and above all, keeping our local and regional food systems thriving,” explains Brewery & the Beast.

Tickets to Brewery & The Beast are $95 + tax and are on sale Friday, May 1st. The event is 19+ only.
