When having merely “a burger” or simply “brunch” (or breakfast) won’t do, and you need to wake up and taste the awesome, wrap your hands around one of these six stellar breakfast burgers you can find right now in Vancouver.

Whether they’re triple-stacked, bacon-loaded, or dressed up in special sauce, these six creations take burgers to a whole new level. And, of course, each one has put an egg on it, at the very least!

You can’t necessarily–or only–“put an egg on it” and call it a breakfast burger. At least that’s not what goes down at Red Truck’s Truck Stop, where their Breakfast Burger on their all-day menu brings together a beef patty with a Nathan’s Hot Dog, HP Sauce, and that vital fried egg for a most egg-cellent indulgence.

It’s a triple-decker waffle burger, stacked with a house ground chuck and brisket patty topped with American cheese, an over easy fried egg, waffle, what Dixies calls a “cardiac-arrest-inducing-amount of bacon topped with burger sauce,”pickled jalapeno pepper garnish, served with a side of tater tots–because YOLO.
