The Canada Border Services Agency is warning travellers to avoid Peace Arch, the busiest land border crossing in B.C., where 34,729 vehicles were processed this time last year.

Instead, CBSA says shorter waits are more likely at Aldergrove, Abbotsford-Huntingdon or for trucks, Pacific Highway.

Last year, more than 88,849 vehicles entered Canada through one of the five Lower Mainland border crossings over the May long weekend.
