Bobby Lee is coming to Vancouver as part of his first-ever headline tour later this year.
Many know Lee from his time on MAD TV, and others probably know him from the hit podcast TigerBelly. He’s also a part of another popular podcast, Bad Friends.
Lee will be playing the Orpheum Theatre on Sept. 5, according to an announcement from Live Nation Canada.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, the 13th.
The Vancouver stop is part of Lee’s The Finally Tour, which kicks off in April in the States. Vancouver is only one of two Canadian stops, with the other happening in Toronto in May.
While Lee has been in town recently for the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival and has played as a guest with other comedians in Vancouver, this is the first time he’s coming to Vancouver on a solo tour, as this is his first headline tour.
In recent years, Lee has become a bit more of a player in Hollywood, being featured in movies like Borderlands and TV shows like Reservation Dogs.
He also seems to know a specific Vancouver hotel quite well.
In 2024, Lee was chatting with fellow comedian Marc Maron on an episode of TigerBelly when the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver became the topic of conversation.
“You’re in Vancouver?” Lee asked.
Maron responded that he was in Vancouver doing a show.
Lee followed up by asking, “You at the Sutton?”
Maron responded with a very animated “No!”
“That’s not a nice hotel!” Maron added.
Lee’s co-host, Khalyla, then chimed in.
“Thank you! That’s what I’ve been telling him.” Khalyla exclaimed.
“He thinks it’s the best,” she said, referring to Lee’s opinions on the Sutton.
“I love the Sutton. I was just there two weeks ago,” Lee replied.
Lee said he loved the Sutton because it’s in the middle of everywhere in the downtown core.

There’s a good chance Lee will share more of his thoughts on Vancouver at the Orpheum show.
Artist presale tickets will begin on March 12 at 10 a.m. till 10 p.m. local time.
