You can get black ice cream (and cones) at this Vancouver spot
Black food is a legit trend these days, and while you may be used to stuff like squid ink pasta, and warming to activated charcoal lemonade, how about giving black ice cream, complete in a black cone, a whirl?

You can do that now at Yaletown’s Mister. The nitrogen ice cream shop is now stirring up a very black Coconut Ash ice cream, (available in vegan), and can scoop it into a black cone (which, alas, is not vegan).
If Coconut Ash isn’t your thing, you can check out Mango, which is Mister’s other new flavour right now.
Of course, if you do go black, you can definitely make jokes when you post your treat on Instagram. Just remember, black ash can stain, so eat up fast. And Mister can only serve up the black stuff (and cones) while they’ve got the supplies, so don’t wait until closing time to head there to check it out, since they may run out.
