BjornBar Bakery, the creation of celebrated pastry chef Tamera Clark, makes its debut in North Vancouver Thursday, April 7.

Residing in a brand spanking new building, constructed by the Kevington Building Corporation, BjornBar Bakery boasts an assortment of deliciousness; think gourmet dessert bars, cookies, meringues, specialty cakes, and scones.

Prepared in-house, a range of lunch offerings are also available and include Grandma’s Macaroni and Cheese, savoury scones, sausage rolls, and spinach and feta rolls. Savoury tarts, quiche, and pizzas can also be ordered with house-made soups and salads.

Drink wise, the menu features a variety of cold and hot beverages. Using beans from Illy coffee, BjornBar Bakery pours cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, and drip coffee.

The modern, yet cozy, 1,400-square-foot space has inside seating for 25, while a sidewalk patio seats 12. Patrons of the bakery also have access to the building’s rooftop deck, which grants spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains.
