Metro Vancouver's Big Splash Water Park announces opening date

Big Splash Water Park, one of Metro Vancouver’s most popular slide parks, has announced an opening date for the 2019 season.

The seven-acre resort-style park will be re-opening for the summer on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Visitors can look forward to 13 body and tube slides, includingĀ The Boomerango — a tube slide with a six-story drop and according to the park, the only slide of its kind in Western Canada.

Other amenities include a kids zone, hot tubs, beach volleyball, basketball, ping pong tables, a Vegas-style cabana, and a sports field.

The park will also offer complimentary weekly shows from the Vancouver Aquarium, Science World, and DJ Alibaba.

Big Splash Water Park will be open from June 29 to September 2, 2019.

General admission tickets will cost $30 for an all-day pass. Twilight passes, which allow entry to the park from 4 pm to closing, will be available for $18.

Children under the age of three and under are free with a paying adult.

All hours at the park are weather permitting.

Hours:Ā 10:30 am to 7 pm, weather permitting

Admission:Ā $30 for an all-day pass, $18 twilight pass (4 pm to close), children three and under are free with a paying adult.
