Beyoncé posts "Fifty Shades" trailer teaser on Instagram

Beyoncé is such a tease: The superstar posted a teaser for the trailer to the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of the titillating bestseller “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which was filmed here in Metro Vancouver.

Not surprisingly, fans went wild for the steamy blink-and-you’ll-miss-it video posted by the songstress, whose hit “Crazy in Love” can be heard in a slowed-down version in the background of some sexy close-up shots.

Of course, the sexy shots aren’t of Vancouver–they’re of a man’s hand taking up a woman’s skirt. We’ll go with the Vancouver Sun’s guess that those appendages belong to stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who play the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively, in the steamy flick.

So what does Beyoncé have to do with “Fifty Shades”? The connection hasn’t been made officially clear, but this weekend’s trailer tease marks the second time the star has been musically connected to the movie. “A similarly sexy version of another of her songs, ‘Haunted,’ was used to underscore a different teaser for the movie that screened at CinemaCon in March,” reports US Magazine.

The full trailer will be released on Thursday, but it’s going to be a while longer before “Fifty Shades” lovers can satisfy their longing for the full feature. The movie is set to be released in February 2015, a year after the movie shoot finished up on the streets of Gastown, Ladner and elsewhere in and around Vancouver.
