Us Vancouverites are no strangers to chicken and waffles, in fact, judging by the amazing selection we have in this city, one could easily gather it might just be our favourite comfort food.

This mouth-watering Southern-style dish is usually made of crispy fried tender chicken, fresh fluffy waffle, and topped with Canadian maple syrup, gravy, hot sauce, or all three.

Yolk’s Breakfast is one of the city’s favourite breakfast places. The chicken and waffles here are made from a piece of buttermilk fried organic chicken, a Belgian waffle, gravy, and collard greens with ham hock. Jam Cafe is an all-day breakfast and lunch restaurant that first opened in Old Town Victoria before expanding into Vancouver. Juke has just launched its brunch menu earlier this year, and its southern-fried brunch is not something that you would want to miss.
