The Belgian Chocolate Café is set to open mid-2018 at 38 Smithe Street, and it sounds like a drool-worthy chocolate heaven.

The 1,076 sq. ft. space will feature internal seating for 16 people and alfresco seating for 18 people.
The owners tell Daily Hive they anticipate to be open from 7 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 7 am to 10 pm on weekends for all the late night dessert lovers who crave a luxury setting.
Patrons can expect “sophisticated ambient interiors ingrained with a rich European feel,” where they can indulge in an upmarket café experience.
The menu will showcase premium freshly baked pastries, breakfast options, Belgium baguettes and waffles, along with signature chocolate desserts, tarts, and slices.
Seasonal specials like soups, ice cream, and sorbets are also in the works for this spot. For drinks, expect 100% Arabica coffee blend, world-class hot chocolates, fruit smoothies, and decadent chocolate shakes.
Safe to say we’re excited to see what this place has in store come opening.
