The PNE Fair in Vancouver is gearing up for a big 2026, and you’ll want to prepare your summer schedule accordingly.

Happening from Aug. 22 to Sept. 7, the fair has unveiled new programming, returning attractions, headlining entertainment, and more for the whole family to enjoy.

The end-of-summer tradition is BC’s longest-running and largest ticketed event, and PNE President and CEO Shelley Frost is excited for fairgoers to discover everything new this year.

“The PNE Fair is where summer memories are made,” said Frost in a release.

“This year, we’re building on that legacy with incredible new experiences and exciting entertainment still to come. With the opening of the Freedom Mobile Arch, we’re entering a new era for live events at the Fair, and we look forward to sharing more in the days ahead.”

A highlight of the fair every year is the huge summer night concerts. Music lovers won’t want to miss the exciting mix of legends and rising stars coming to the new amphitheatre.

The official lineup for this year’s series will be released this week, so stay tuned for the reveal.

The Summer Night Concerts will run every evening the PNE Fair is open, with tickets including Fair Gate Admission.

New this year is Wizard of Oz On Ice, a chance to see Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion like never before. Join them as they glide on a magical journey through the Land of Oz. With stunning choreography, colourful costumes, and state-of-the-art special effects, the show promises to be a favourite for all ages.

LEGO fans will also want to check out the new exhibition, Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers made with LEGO bricks. Let your imagination run wild with the larger-than-life brick sculptures of the animals, including an eye-catching butterfly, a majestic bison, and more. Plus, you’ll get to try your hand at building a masterpiece of your own.

It wouldn’t be the PNE without some exciting entertainment. Save room in your fair schedule to see the SuperDogs’ new show “Fairy Tails” in the Agrodome, the British Columbia Tattoo Show, the Westcoast Lumberjack Show, ColourJam, and Our Potential, Our Purpose.

One of the most popular things to see at the fair is the agricultural area and the array of barnyard animals, educational exhibits, and more. This year, the PNE is welcoming over 300 members from BC 4H to its annual 4H Festival, and there’s also a Kids Discovery Farm and Agri-a’moo’sement activities for burgeoning farmers to explore.

Of course, no visit to the PNE is complete without treating yourself to all the delicious eats, and we can’t wait to chow down on classics like mini donuts, lemonade, and homestyle fried chicken. Just make sure to pace yourself before you get back on the thrill rides!
