RCMP seek man accused of bear spraying gas station employee during robbery

Surrey’s RCMP Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.

In a statement issued to media Wednesday, RCMP said a man entered a gas station on King George Boulevard and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then allegedly proceeded to bear spray an employee and then fled the area without any cash.

The incident happened on February 28, at 1:30 am.

Officers attended the scene but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’7″ with a slim build and short dark hair.
