Watch Toy Story 4 on the massive Jumbotron at BC Place this weekend

Oct 15 2019, 9:39 pm

This weekend, you can catch a movie on the big screen at BC Place and help kids in need.

On Saturday, October 19, the arena, in partnership with Kids Up Front, will be hosting its “More Than a Movie” night.

The Vancouver-based charity partners with more than 105 different child-serving agencies across Canada to make sure that a ticket never goes to waste. Extra tickets go to children of families that face multiple barriers, such as poverty, illness and neglect, and gives them a chance to enjoy unique opportunities and events.

In 2018, the organization donated 24,579 tickets to children in need for 2,604 different events.

“More Than a Movie” night gives families and individuals a chance to catch a movie at BC Place and watch Toy Story 4 from the world’s second-largest four-sided hung video board.

The event begins with on-field events for families and young children at 5 pm, with the movie beginning at 6:30 pm.

Every ticket includes a hot dog, soft drink, and popcorn, and more importantly, every ticket purchased means that another ticket is donated to the communities involved with Kids Up Front.

Tickets are priced at $15 or $50 for four and can be purchased online.
