Remember the days of 7 digit dialing? Or how you dreaded getting the 778 area code? Well by June 1, 2013 British Columbia will get a new area code, 236. I’m pretty sure the Lower Mainland will still cling on to the two 604 and 778 for the time being. This new area code will most likely be for either the Valley or the interior. Then again, who knows.
This all reminds of the Seinfeld clip where Elaine gets a new phone number and feels she’ll be shunned by society. Don’t worry it’s just a number. Luda has some more codes to start adding now.
