There is a new mobile-friendly website for BC Ferries that improves the online booking and trip-managing experience and provides dynamically updated schedules and current conditions information.

The new website, launched on Tuesday, simplifies the planning, booking, and paying process for passengers on any device.

Additionally, the dynamically generated, real-time daily and seasonal schedules are now available for all routes, as well as travel conditions at major terminals.

The “Current Conditions” page now displays percentage of space available instead of the percentage full.

Passengers can also benefit from enhanced account-management capabilities that allow the management of all bookings in one place, and add, change, or cancel bookings with ease. A new trip-planner pool assists passengers with finding sailings and calculating fares on any route before travel.

Moreover, the BC Ferries and BC Ferries Vacations websites have been amalgamated, making it more convenient to book a customized vacation package with hotel and ferry.

TransLink also recently released a new mobile-friendly website on a trial basis.
