'Have you seen Tango?' BC Ferries asks for help to find a missing cat
BC Ferries is asking for help to reunite a cat with his family.
On a Thursday evening sailing, Tango, a grey cat with a white chest and paws, went missing, according to a social media post from the ferry service.
BC Ferries is requesting its followers to help them locate the cat, especially if they were on the same sailing as him.
“If you or someone you know was travelling on the 5:45 – 7:45 p.m. sailing on Thursday, August 20 from Tsawwassen to Duke Point on the Coastal Inspiration, please check your vehicles, trailers or boats for Tango,” reads the social media post.
“Tango slipped out of a car window opening of his owner’s vehicle and disappeared on the lower car deck. Crew on board searched for Tango with his family and he could not be located. His family is devastated.”
If you see Tango or know his whereabouts, BC Ferries asks that you DM them “immediately” (on Facebook or Instagram). They also request that you share the post to help find Tango.
Last summer, Luigi, a tuxedo cat, also went missing on a BC Ferries sailing. Luckily, BC Ferries found him two weeks later at their Tsawwassen terminal under a trailer.
