Caffè-by-day, ristorante-by-night concept to open in Vancouver's Little Italy

Following the news that Pax Romana was making its return to Vancouver’s dining scene, another new concept from the Ionian Hospitality Group (the same folks behind Loula’s Taverna, Sopra Sotto, and Claudio’s) has been announced: Bar Tifo.
The new spot will operate as an Italian caffè during the day, but later in the evening it will transform into an Italian ristorante.
The vision for Bar Tifo is for it to emulate the intimate and elevated bars found in Italy that are bustling from the early morning until the late evening. The space will feature a café-styled nook in the front of the space for folks to grab morning espresso, pastries, pizza by the slice, and panini to go.
But at night, Bar Tifo will transform into a space for folks looking to grab a glass of wine, cocktail, or beer, along with a menu of small plates. Think Roman-style pizza, distinctive pasta dishes, and more.
Plus, the restaurant will also have a patio, bringing the same intimate and elevated atmosphere from the interior onto the street, while also embracing the liveliness of Litty Italy.
