Coming soon to a Tim Hortons near you: baked goods with a layer or infusion of Nutella’s delicious hazelnut spread are coming to Canada’s doughnut and coffee house.
Beginning April 15, but for a limited time only, Tim Hortons will offer doughnuts and pastries that pack a creamy Nutella hazelnut punch. The flower-shaped doughnut comes with roasted hazelnut chunk toppings while the pastries will be dusted with a coating of sugar.
In addition to the infusions, customers who buy bagels can order the menu item with a thick spread of Nutella.
“This is a sweet day for Tim Hortons,” reads a statement by Tim Hortons spokesperson Julie Unsworth.
“We’ve married the irresistible fresh taste of Tim Hortons baked goods with world-renowned Nutella to create a phenomenal flavour pairing that Canadians will fall head over heels for. This is a melt-in-your-mouth, must-try treat.”
The Nutella baked goods will be available at Canadian Tim Hortons restaurants until June 9. American Tim Hortons locations will also receive the menu options, from May 8 to August 18.
