A Richmond restaurant has introduced a fresh culinary experience – bubble tea hot pot.
The first of its kind in the area, the specialty offering is brought to us by Avery Restaurant in Richmond.

The Taro Ball Dessert Hotpot features the diner’s choice of a warm (or cold) milk tea or milk base.
Toppings like tapioca, pearls, small medium, mochi balls, mango, and grass jelly can be added along with mango sauce and condensed milk.

One pot runs for just under $30 and its enough for four to five people – unless you’re really into milk tea, then it’s just a personal large.
Guests can also feel free to just stick a straw in the bowl too if they feel so obliged.

Ever since this offering was introduced on Avery’s menu on New Year’s Day, it’s been a seriously popular – and very Insta-worthy – order alongside the eatery’s other signature items like Chinese stir-fry and Mille Crepe cakes.
