Update: The Apple store @ Oakridge Shopping Centre opens this Saturday (Sept. 26, 2009) at 9:30 am.There is a second Apple store opening up in the Lower Mainland. More specifically Vancouver at Oakridge Centre Mall, sorry suburban mac and ipod junkies. The store is set to open in late summer of 2009 or early fall. I confirmed this with one of the mall employees.
Word on the street is that Apple is also looking for a flagship ship store on Robson and Richmond as well. More on this as it develops.
