New Amber Alert timeline of events and tip line further investigations (PHOTOS)
On Friday, July 21, RCMP shared more details related to the current Amber Alert in effect here in BC.
Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has launched a tip line and dedicated email account to manage the tips related to the Amber Alert.
Police say that the mother of the children, is believed to be travelling with her father, and her boyfriend.
Investigators have also determined that the mother has access to a number of trailers, and shared an image of the suspect vehicle without its canopy towing a fifth-wheel trailer on June 30 in Chilliwack.
A timeline of events
Investigators have established a timeline of events to further the case:
- June 28 – Children left with mother for a planned vacation.
- June 30 – Mother picked up her father in Chilliwack, BC. The truck was towing a fifth-wheel trailer.

- July 7 – The mother, and the two kids, attended a gas station in Merritt, BC. The truck was towing the large travel trailer at this time.

- July 15 – The mother was in Kamloops, BC, grocery shopping. The truck was pulling a horse trailer at the time.

- July 18 – Surrey RCMP receives a report that the kids were not returned to their father on July 17 following a scheduled visit with their mother.
- July 19 – Surrey RCMP issues Amber Alert.
“We need the public to stay vigilant and call our tip line or email tips with any sightings,” said Surrey Media Relations Officer Sergeant Tammy Lobb in a release.
